Have you been waiting for a good reason to take some time to learn about the history of our First Nations People?
In June 2021 the discovery of unmarked graves gave us 215 reasons. It started with the Residential School in Kamloops, B.C. and has grown to over 1,000 at additional institutions across Canada. These discoveries have generated outrage, across the country; as yet however there has been very little progress with investigation. In the spring of 2024, doubts were made public, that the "anomalies" detected may very well not prove to be burials. Some people suggest this may may only indicate where digging occurred for utilities or other construction activities from the past.
